Folks shows you what your friends and family are up to, newest first, and then lets you go. No Stories. No Reels. No strangers. No ads. No like counts to compete over.
We only use your email to tell you about Folks.
You're on the list. We'll email you when Folks is ready.
Free forever. No ads. No subscription.
You're not the product. Folks is free for everyone, and supported only by people who want to chip in.
Bring social media back to what it was for: keeping up with the people you love.
We take away the ads, the endless suggestions and the like counts, so the time you spend online leaves you closer to your people, not comparing yourself to strangers or being sold to.
I deleted Instagram because it had stopped being about the people I care about. My feed was Reels, ads and strangers, and the posts from my friends and family were buried somewhere underneath.
The one thing I missed was seeing what my friends and family were up to. If there had been a way to see just them, newest first, with nothing else, I would have kept it.
So I built that. Folks shows you your people, newest first, and ends when you're caught up.
My goal isn't to make money off the people who use it. No ads, no subscription, nothing to sell you. If Folks makes someone's life a little better and gives them back time with the people they love, that's the whole point.
